Personality: Cerebus the Aardvark is a do anything for a gold piece kind of guy. Despite being barely 3 feet high, he has not been stopped in his life so far in being a sorcerer's apprentice, a tax collector, a mercenary, a soldier, a war chieftain, a kitchen staff supervisor as well as other temporary guises he would adopt all in pursuit of wealth and power. He is cynical of idealism and sees authority as only a way to promote the wealth and power of the ruling party.

He is slightly ashamed of being seen as a backwoods, unsophisticated barbarian though he does excel in that when he needs to. His amoral leanings manifest themselves in his lack of compassion for others when he must commit a grisly act for gold. He enjoys raw potatoes, ale, sports, books designed for juvenile minded men and gambling.

A note about his speech, he can use first person pronouns but the custom from his homeland and most other barbarian lands is to speak one's name instead of
"I" and "my". First person pronouns are usually seen as pretentious, though Cerebus does not really share that opinion since he recognizes people who live in more civilized lands happen to be wealthier (Get it? The boy's got a hard on for money)


Strengths:

Physical: Strength, agility and skill of a excellently trained warrior who frequently engages in extreme exercise. Excellent swordsman. Capable of using his snout and tail for defense.

Mental: Occasional prophetic dreams. Was a sorcerer's apprentice and while he retains his knowledge from working under his cruel master, he does not practice actual sorcery but is usually aware of when magic is being used. A quick wit

Emotional: Fearless, mostly amoral aside from a deep rooted desire not to have sex out of wed lock.

Weaknesses:

Physical: Cerebus is an Aardvark (born from regular humans), and in his world, that means he is a rare creature of random power but no control over it (i.e. occasionally sneezes fire, fur can change color and other useless etc acts). If his fur gets wet, the stench is so devastating that no one can stand to be by him. He can't stand the smell, either.

Mental: Has little control over unexplainable phenomenon that occurs to him due to 1) being an Aardvark and 2)contact with a chaos gem. As a result of contact with a chaos gem, some people have been created based off of aspects of himself.

Emotional: Selfish, misogynist, homophobic, all around curmudgeon, lusty, greedy, quick temper, you have all day to list all his nastier traits?
